Nice blog
Hello Joanna,
Thank you for your kind note about “Pasayten Wilderness” at In Her Place. You’re on the IWW, aren’t you? It’s a wonderful resource.
Best wishes for your writing,
Adrienne Ross Scanlan
Hi Adrienne,
Yes, I’m on IWW and love it, a real support and encouragement for writers.
Have a happy writing weekend!,
Joanna
I have just discovered your poem “The Becoming” and am so excited to find this piece as it provides the exact usage of the word and imagery that I want for an English essay I must write at University.
That’s great. I’m glad it will help you. What university are you at? And what’s your major? Let me know how you do with the essay.
I am at Liberty University in the States. Lynchburg, Virginia. My major is International Relations here, but I am currently writing a definition essay in my English course.
Did you find my poem by googling? I’m intrigued. Hope you’re enjoying your courses.
I found your poem in the Canadian Women’s Studies journal through an online database through my university. I am enjoying my courses very much. I love the school and I have been acquainted with the classes, campus, and people of the university now. I am a freshman from Michigan and am definitely enjoying the warm southern US weather during the winter time, however, being from Michigan I am an avid winter sports fan so it is a tradeoff. You are located in near Vancouver in BC? I would love to live up there. A teammate on my hockey team here is from Penticton and I hear nothing but great things about BC. Enjoy your day and blessings to you.
