Home-grown fruit and vegetables are in the local markets and just the smell of them is enough to make me hungry. I love the smell of tomatoes, the feel of fresh-picked lettuce, the joys of summer! Strawberries, raspberries … …

the earth was round
I wouldn’t have tried
to step off the edge
and fly

I leapt from star to star
across the Milky Way
before dropping back
to the Small Planet
because I could smell
raspberry pie
