BLAZING COLOUR                                       173.sunset

the impersonal rage
of every sunset
burns my ears

furious skies flame
at tossing clouds

angry epithets
flare across downtown
enacting tantrums                                                    sunsetEmma Lake
to the deaf world

but if I miss it
the sun slides down
empty-hearted    silent
gray in loneliness
