3 Ice Haiku

We’ve been in a deep freeze for days. I’ve enjoyed huddling
over the computer,  or a wood-stove, and considering the world from
inside. We keep the birds fed and hope they are warm too …

caught in the ice –
no fishing

blue sky
a red mitten
under ice

my feet
crack ice –
overcast sky
