No Hurries

I’ve given up on Christmas shopping … too hectic, and too stressful. So,
in this time of looking for peace and quiet, I’m doing the simple thing …

NO HURRIES

no inching through
long lines of traffic

no worried look
at gift-giving list

no pushing my way
through anxious crowds

no trying to reach
that on sale item

no hurried check
if the price is high

I’m gathering online
gifts this year

giving myself
the gift of peace
