My blog is all poetry: I write everyday, and post to my blog on every Wednesday. If you have any suggestions about what I should write about, let me know.
I like to find a photo that either complements or contrasts with the poem, and I have great fun looking for the photo, either in my collection or having to take one that ‘fits’.
Born in England, I live in Shawnigan Lake, on Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada. I am married to Robert; and we have three sons:
… two cats, Alice and Chaucer, a herd of deer, raccoons, and two derelict hen-houses.

I have been a member of the Poetry List of the Internet Writing Workshop, for thirteen years. It’s an invaluable resource and a great place to learn.

I have just discovered your poem “The Becoming” and am so excited to find this piece as it provides the exact usage of the word and imagery that I want for an English essay I must write at University.

I am at Liberty University in the States. Lynchburg, Virginia. My major is International Relations here, but I am currently writing a definition essay in my English course.

I found your poem in the Canadian Women’s Studies journal through an online database through my university. I am enjoying my courses very much. I love the school and I have been acquainted with the classes, campus, and people of the university now. I am a freshman from Michigan and am definitely enjoying the warm southern US weather during the winter time, however, being from Michigan I am an avid winter sports fan so it is a tradeoff. You are located in near Vancouver in BC? I would love to live up there. A teammate on my hockey team here is from Penticton and I hear nothing but great things about BC.
